From my pain became my passion. For over 20 years of living paycheck to paycheck always hoping that “Some Day” things would get better, barely surviving financially working for churches as a pastor I always wondered how others “Made It” and would “Some Day” ever happen for me.
The next thing I realized was that I needed mentors and coaches that have gone and done where I want to go. One of my mentors was my Jewish attorney named Steve and he told me that the first $10K to make would be my hardest and every $10K after that would be super easy. I found out later that he was right. At that time, I could not wrap my head around making and extra $10K so I did what I knew to do. I kept trading hours for dollars.
Besides working for the church during the day, I worked nights delivering pizza for Domino’s, drove limousines on the weekends and parked cars for a valet company. Overcoming my self-limiting beliefs to make my first $10K was one of the hardest things I ever did. Working hard all day kept me from being creative to understand that working harder was not working smarter.
Now, today, my passion is to help my clients to overcome their self-limiting beliefs and not have to struggle the way I did to make my first $10K to $100K with an additional stream of income. As one of my real estate mentors says, “The Less I Do, The More I Make”! I found this to be true and you will too. Working smarter and not harder, makes you wealthy, healthy and financially free.
